The Lions Club of Colombo Diamonds has successfully completed a project at Athula Dassana Buddhist Center, where we provided school books to children in need. This initiative was driven by our commitment to supporting education and ensuring that underprivileged children have access to the necessary resources for their academic success. where we distributed 30 packs of school supplies to children in need. Each pack included 8 exercise books, 2 CR books, pen, pencils, erasers, 6pcs colour pencils, other related items and a transparent bag to carry them.
By distributing these essential supplies, we aimed to alleviate some of the challenges these children face in their pursuit of education. The project is a testament to our ongoing dedication to making a meaningful impact in the community and promoting the values of service within the Lions organization.
