At 00:00 hours of July 1, 2024, the first project for Lion Year 2024/2025 commenced by the Lions Club of Colombo Continental Excellence. This was the initiation of the new board of officers for blessing the newly appointed president of the Lions Club of Colombo Continental Excellence and the newly elected District Governor and District Cabinet of District 306 C2. The project was carried out, and dry rations (Water Bottle, Biscuit packets and Yought) were handed over to the devotees coming to the premises of Minuwangoda, Vagovwa Gale Dewalaya Temple. This project can be considered the very first project executed by our Lions Club and the first project undertaken within the C2 306 Lions District for the 2024/2025 Lions Year. The event was also one of blessings to the cabinet, people of Sri Lanka, and others from across the world
